Dining onboard a Disney Cruise Ship is so much fun because there are so many different options, and you can eat to your heart’s content. Your dining masterpiece begins with a gallery of tantalizing appetizers, including smoked salmon tartare, wild mushroom risotto, black truffle pasta purseittes, creamy butternut squash soup, taleggio cheese flatbread, polenta cake topped with Roma tomatoes, and Portobello mushrooms. Main entrees are, of course, artfully prepared and made fresh just for you! Main course selections include Pacific black cod, lemon-thyme marinated organic chicken breast, Angus beef tenderloin, and white shrimp pennette pasta. Vegetarian options include stir fry vegetables and black bean chipotle cakes, while a children’s menu is sure to inspire the pickiest of “palettes.”

Of course, there’s a delicious dessert menu to add that finishing touch to your meal. Choose from a curated collage of decadent desserts such as crème brûlèe, peanut butter mousse, or a classic ice-cream sundae. Anyone else ready for dessert?

During this experience, you will enjoy an innovative dinner show celebrating the art of storytelling where Disney characters come to life before your eyes. On the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships, you will enjoy a spacious yet stylized dining room that recalls a real-life, hand-drawn environment in black and white. Animator’s Palate boasts a fantastic architectural design, where proportions bend and slant suddenly, and sketches showcasing characters and scenes from Disney and Disney·Pixar films adorn the walls around you.

This colorful restaurant is filled with everything you would expect to find inside an animator’s studio (seriously, so cool!). Character sketches, maquettes, light boxes, paint brushes, colored pencils, computer workstations, and other tools of the animation trade delightfully decorate the interior, and guests will find scenes and characters from popular Disney films on the walls. The decor and ambiance are one-of-a-kind and will captivate everyone of all ages!

Animator’s Palate is a Main Dining restaurant that is part of the Rotational Dining experience on board all Disney ships. If you cruise on the Disney Wonder, Magic, Dream, or Fantasy, you and your personal wait staff will “rotate” to one of the three distinctly themed restaurants on board the ship, ensuring you enjoy a delicious meal catered to your liking in a unique setting nightly.
